The Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement (SECURE) Act Update

The fiscal year 2020 spending bill was recently passed by the U.S. Congress and signed into law. This included an important piece of legislation on retirement plans called The Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement (SECURE) Act. The SECURE Act removes regulatory obstacles and makes it easier for companies to enhance their defined contribution (DC) plans (e.g., 401(k) plans) so employees can access options such as guaranteed retirement income. This presentation will cover what HR professionals need to know about the SECURE Act.
